I am attaching photos and comments regarding my GIVI monorack installation
purchased from
AZMotorsports:
A. This picture shows the OEM luggage rack (seat removed) prior to removal
B. The GIVI topcase mounting rack (SR346)
C. The GIVI Topcase Mount for FJR (black nylon, 3 point receiver)
D. The OEM rack removed
E. Rack removed. Note the rectangular holes each side of the "YAMAHA"
sticker. I had to use a Dremel tool to enlarge both slightly
(inside edge nearest the sticker). The installation kit happens to
include rubber stickers to surround the to provide a nice finished look
and likely add some weather-stripping capability.
F. The GIVI rack installed. Once the plastic holes were widened it was a
perfect fit.
G. The GIVI rack and mounting plate (front view)
H. The GIVI rack and mounting plate (side view)
I. The GIVI rack and mounting plate (rear view). Note location of the 4
bolts holding the plate to the rack. As it turned out, for my Traffic E35
to be properly situated so that the passenger could sit back far enough
and have comfortable support, I had to enlarge/elongate the bolt holes
about 5mm (towards the rear). This was very easy to do and resulted in
a perfect placement of the top case. This picture was taken BEFORE
I elongated the holes.

K. Side view of installed product.
L. Side view of passenger/product. Note how the passenger's butt occupies
the full seat. Prior to elongating the mounting holes, the passenger
was pushed several inches forward, crowding the driver. This may be an
isolated outcome with marrying my Traffic E35 to this mount, your
outcome may differ.
M. Front view of passenger/product. Note that the mounting bracket
retains the passenger "grab rail" feature.
I may wrap the grip with some bicycle handlebar tape.
The product had very clear instructions, with exploded diagrams for the
various steps. Very easy to install and no surprises, except for the
necessity to enlarge a couple mounting holes, as shown below.
